Starbucks Christmas Lattes

I like coffee, but I do not like just black coffee.
For me it has to be a latte or a cappuccino or something similar.
And that is why I really like Starbucks.
Bacause they have different types of lattes and such.
And they have new flavours depending on the season.
Our local Starbucks has gone christmas crazy.
This year, they are offering three different christmas lattes (ok, one is a mocha).
They also get a bonus for playing christmas songs.

The sign greating you and telling you what flavours to expect is great.
The only thing I do not like, is that your coffee is not served in those lovely cups in the picture.
But nevermind that. Christmas lattes!



Gingerbread Latte
The first one is a gingerbread flavoured latte.
It has a distinct gingerbread scent and it takes you right into christmas mode.
The taste is lovely and it feels like drinking liquid gingerbread.
While still tasting like coffee mind you.



Cranberry White Mocha
Looks nothing like in the picture above, which is bad.
It smells like whipped cream and white chocolate.
Has a pretty sourish taste, like cranberry or lingonberries.
It is very sweet.



Toffee Nut Latte
This one also smells like whipped cream.
It has a kind of bitter taste to it that I do not like.
The crushed nuts are sweet and crunchy.
This was my least favourite of the three.

In the end the Gingerbread Latte is the clear winner!

Toffee Yogurt With Toffee Sprinkles

Back in June, I wrote about a yogurt with toffee popcorn in it [Toffee Popcorn Yogurt].
As you know, I didn't really like it.
And now I'm sitting here with another weird yogurt (ok, there's no popcorn in it, but still weird), trying to decide if it's breakfast or desert...
There's toffee in this one too.



It's Toffee Yogurt with Toffee Sprinkles and it's, you guessed it, weird.
It smells like candy and sugar and toffee and more sugar!
And it looks, well... You can see for yourselfs.
But what about the taste? It's not yogurt, that's for sure...
It's tastes more like pudding. Supersweet toffee pudding.
The toffee sprinkles are nice, they are kind of crunchy and adds more depth to the creation.
In the end I can confirm, that this is not a yogurt, but a desert.

Toffee Popcorn Yogurt

Is it too late for breakfast? Or maybey we should call this a snack? For brunch?
What I'm trying to say, is that I don't know at what time of the day you're supposed to eat this.
Yes, this i yogurt, with popcorn dipped in toffee... I'll let that sink in.

Another weird part is that this product isn't even from America, it's from Germany.



Mcennedys is a product of Lidl which is a German company.
Anyway, it's plain yogurt with small, small bits of toffee popcorn in it.
It looks pretty disgusting and not at all appetizing.
Smells a lot of toffee but not as much of popcorn.
The same goes for the taste, super sweet toffee flavour.
As is customary with popcorn, they get stuck in your teeth ;)
This was kind of a downer, weird is my alley, but this was to sweet and i still don't know at what time of the day I'm supposed to eat it.

Gonuts With Dumle

Ok, so it's been quiet here. To quiet.
I haven't really had the energy to start testing things again.
But that's gonna change. Right now!

Today we have something Swedish (or bought in Sweden anyways).
Dumle is a candy that's very popular in Sweden.
This is a new taste where they have mixed it with nuts, cashews to be exakt.

And they are awesome! They consist of caramel mixed with crushed cashews dipped in milk chocolate.
They are not as hard as regular Dumle caramels, with is really nice.
Both sweet and a bit salty. I like them.

Marabou Loop

This is new for 2011, from Swedish candy company Marabou.
And boy is this chocolate bar boring...

Standard toffee coated with milk chocolate.
The taste is boring, the toffee get stuck everywhere in your mouth.
The only "fun" thing is the design of the bar itself.
A loop, like the name, duh! but that doesn't save this fiasko.

I'm betting they won't be around for long.

Dumle Gingerbread [Limited Edition]

För er som inte vet det, så betyder gingerbread, pepparkaka på svenska.
Har ingen aning varför man valt att blanda språken så.
Säkert någon på reklambyrån som ville skämta till det lite, haha :)
Nu var det avklarat i alla fall ;)

De luktar och ser ut som vanliga Dumle och jag skulle faktiskt först skriva att de smakar så med.
Men så var inte fallet märkte jag efter en stund.
Det är nämligen så att de smakar som vanliga Dumle, men efter ett tag när eftersmaken kommer så blir det direkt en helvändning mot pepparkakor.
Inte perfekta pepparkakor, men ändå pepparkakor.
Smaken är ganska konstig, men ändå angenäm.

Sammanfattat, kan man väl säga att de är ok men jag känner inte så att jag vill äta flera påsar av dem.
Stor bonus för den fina förpackningen!
