Cap'N Crunch's Cinnamon Roll Crunch Cereal

Before we begin with all this Christmas business.
I need some breakfast.
And why not some really "healthy" cereal?
This is not my first time trying Cap'N Crunch's cereal.
More reviews are sure to come.





Some people eat cereals for breakfast, some eat cinnamon rolls.
And why not combine the two?
This cereal is supposed to infuse the taste and sensation of eating cinnamon rolls.
From the cinnamon taste to the creamy frosting.



Upon opening the package, the room is filled with a nice cinnamon roll scent.
It is almost like you just took some newly baked rolls from the oven.
Filling a bowl with cereal and some milk made the cereal crackle a bit.
They are pretty nice and tastes a lot of cinnamon.
Although I can not taste the frosting, it is almost like eating cinnamon rolls.

Cinnamon Bun Bites

You have waited a while for this.
The end of our cookie dought marathon.
Do not worry, I am sure there will be more cookie dough bites in the future.
Since this is the end, why not go out with a bang?
Why not end with Cinnabon Bun Bites?



Everyone loves cinnamon buns?
Or, at least, they should...
I have a good feeling about these bites.
Just look at the box!
It makes me want to eat it, as well as its content.
It has a nice light brown background colour.
A picture of some real cinnamon buns.
And also some of the bites in the package.

Let us find out if they taste like they are fresh from the oven.
Opening the box, you are greated with a nice smell of freshly baked cinnamon buns.
It does really smell like you have something baking in your oven.
I just sat there for a while, taking in the smell. Lovely.



The taste is, unfortunately, not as close to "freshly baked" as the smell.
But, that does not mean they are not really awesome.
They taste just like cinnamon buns.
Of all the cookie dough bites if tried during these weeks, this is by far my favourite.
The smell alone, makes me love them.

Kiviks Musteri - Äppleglögg Med Smak Av Kanel Och Vanilj

Yesterday I wrote about glögg based on raspberries.
Today, we have a bottle of glögg based on apples flavoured with cinnamon and vanilla.
Glögg based on apples, is more common than glögg based on raspberries.



This should be good, after all... Kiviks Musteri knows its apples.
It has a very distinct smell of ripe apples.
Among all that apple scent, there is also a sweet scent of vanilla.
The cinnamon is nowhere to be smelled.

This glögg is very sweet, kind of like warm apple juice.
To much like apple juice in fact.
The taste of apples completely removes all hints of vanilla and cinnamon.
Or maybe it is just me being a bit sad that it was more lika apple juice than apple glögg.



If yesterdays raspberrie glögg was a bit like classic glögg (only sweeter). Then todays apple glögg is as far away from classic glögg as you can get. Will tomorrows glögg take home the price?

KitKat Cinnamon [Limited Edition]

Cinnamon is hardly used in Japanese cooking.
So it's a surprise to see a KitKat with cinnamon flavouring.
But hey, in Japan, all flavours are fair game.

Personally i like cinnamon flavoured candy.
Not necessarily the spicy version, but also regular cinnamon flavour.
Anyway, this is a white chocolate based KitKat with small sprinkles of cinnamon.
It smells alot like cinnamon, a rich nice scent.
Kind of makes me want to use it as a room freshener.
It's that strong.



The sprinkles are crunchy and tastes alot of cinnamon.
I think the the KitKat is perfectly balanced, between the sweetness of the chocolate and the spiciness of the cinnamon.
In other words, this is a great treat and I would like to try it again.

Kanelbullens dag! - Delish Delectable Cinnabites

Idag är det kanelbullens dag och det måste firas. Vad bättre än att göra det med något udda? Jag fick aldrig tag på någon kanelbulle och ingen ville ge mig en :( Så jag fick rota i kylskåpet. Här har vi då Delish Delectable Cinnabites, miniversioner av kanelbullen (bredd: ca 4cm, höjd: ca 3cm).

Dessa är inköpta i New York. Jag kunde tyvärr inte hitta någon info alls om dessa på nätet (?)



De är i alla fall väldigt goda, lite sötare och degigare än vanliga svenska kanelbullar. Kan också bero på att de legat i kylskåpet ett tag. Där är ingen övertygande kanelsmak eller doft på dem (kylskåpets fel igen kanske...). Det är roligt med miniversioner, särskilt då kanelbullar som jag oftast anser är för stora. Vilket kanske gör att följande låter lite konstigt... För ett stort minus är att det bara är tre bullar per förpackning :(
