Cinnamon Bun Bites

You have waited a while for this.
The end of our cookie dought marathon.
Do not worry, I am sure there will be more cookie dough bites in the future.
Since this is the end, why not go out with a bang?
Why not end with Cinnabon Bun Bites?



Everyone loves cinnamon buns?
Or, at least, they should...
I have a good feeling about these bites.
Just look at the box!
It makes me want to eat it, as well as its content.
It has a nice light brown background colour.
A picture of some real cinnamon buns.
And also some of the bites in the package.

Let us find out if they taste like they are fresh from the oven.
Opening the box, you are greated with a nice smell of freshly baked cinnamon buns.
It does really smell like you have something baking in your oven.
I just sat there for a while, taking in the smell. Lovely.



The taste is, unfortunately, not as close to "freshly baked" as the smell.
But, that does not mean they are not really awesome.
They taste just like cinnamon buns.
Of all the cookie dough bites if tried during these weeks, this is by far my favourite.
The smell alone, makes me love them.

Cookies 'N Cream Bites

Now, we are getting somewhere.
Cookies 'N Cream is what I call, the non-licensed version of Oreos.
They often taste like Oreos, but are not Oreos.
These are Oreo... Cookies 'N Cream Bites.
White chocolate balls with crumbled pieces of cookies.



The box is a lot better than most of the other boxes.
They have gone with the Oreo-blue with milk swishing away cookies and bites alike.
I do not know why, but I like this box.
At least there is something happening.

They smell a lot like cream, but not that much of cookies.
I do not know, I kind of want the cookie smell to, but you can not have everything.



The taste is also more cream than cookies.
Which is also a bummer.
They are not bad, not bad at all.
But I kind of hade Oreos pictured in my head when I tried them.

Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites

Continuing my (non punctual) saga of Cookie Dough Bites with some Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites.
I am not really a fan of mint cookies.
They have to be pretty special for me to like them.



The box is another boring version.
We have seen it before.
At least this one is green, resembling mint.
The "Mint" font is pretty awful, except for the mint leaves that serves as the dot on the I.

The bites has a pretty faint scent of mint.
Which is another con, because I like my mint candy to smell a lot like mint.



At first i thought the candy has expired, but in that I was wrong.
The taste is weird.
A millisecond of minty flavour and then nothing.
I do not know if they are supposed to taste like that, but I do not like it.
As I said, mint candy is supposed to smell and taste a lot of mint.
Hit and miss.

Cupcake Bites With Sprinkles

What? It has already been two weeks?
I better step up my game.

Today we have Cupcake Bites With Sprinkles.
Last time we looked at Red Velvet Cupcake Bites and I liked them.
Can these, more generic cupcake bites win me over?



Except for the yellow part (which of course takes up most of the box).
The packaging is very cupcake. Lots of pastel.
Now these are not regular cupcake bites.
They also contains sprinkles.
Which makes the so much better than regular cupcake bites.



They smell a lot like frosting, which of course, is a main ingredient.
In other words, they smell like cream cheese and butter (and sugar!).
These tastes very nice.
If you close your eyes, you can almost imagine your eating real cupcakes.
And the sprinkles?
Yes, they are awesome!
They make the flavor a lot better.

Red Velvet Cupcake Bites

Last weeks cookie dough bites was a disappointment.
Will this weeks version redeem itself?
Let us find out.

First of all, I really like the Red Velvet flavouring.
And there seems to be nothing that you can not make that is based on Red Velvet.
Regular Red Velvet cupcakes are really nice.
And they might find their way onto this blog in the future.



Here they are... Available in bite size.
The box is all kind of red and that is just as it should be.
It is a lovely box and I get cravings just by looking at it.

They have that sweet Red Velvet smell.
It is kind of chocolate, not like regular chocolate, but still, chocolate.
The taste was something somewhat disappointing.
Of course, they taste like Red Velvet cupcakes, but nowhere near the original.
But, they are still very nice and so far the best cookie dough bites I have tried.

Fudge Brownie Cookie Dough Bites

Lets eat some more bite size cookie dough.
This time we have fudge brownie.
I can not say I have eaten much fudge brownie before.

If last times packaging was basic, this is basic++.
It is a really boring package that does not say much about the product.
But hey, I will bite.



They do not really smell like anything, maybey a bit of chocolate.
But it is really faint.
Like I wrote before, I have not eaten much fudge brownies.
And I do not recognise this taste.
Is this how fudge brownies are supposed to taste?
There is a coconuty aftertaste, which I do not like at all.
These were a hit and miss.

Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bites

I have been trying the different types of cookie dough candy from Taste of Nature.
And I thought, "Why not take a few weeks to write about them?".
As I wrote two lines ago, they are made by Taste of Nature.
The candy is basically different types of cookie dough dipped in chocolate.

The first one I tried was peanut butter cookie dough.
As you might know, I really like peanut butter.
The packaging is kind of basic, which is a shame really.
Basically, blue/yellow and a hand drawn jar of peanut butter.
I do not know why, but I like that jar.



They do not really smell all that much like peanut butter.
Might be the chocolate cover.
And there is something weird about the taste.
It is more coconut than peanut butter.
It is a bit disappointing really.
This could be so much better.
Maybey next week will have a better flavour.
